Forum: GratefulDead Subject: For Wilco fans (non-dead)

Wilco recently put up a pair of soundboards for free download here. http://www.wilcoworld.net/causes/
They ask only that you make a $15 donation to OXFAM or Doctors Without Borders, if you can.

The shows are
7-13-2009 Keyspan Park Brooklyn NY
11-4-2009 HMV Forum London UK

2 excellent shows featuring 2 fantastic, blistering Impossible Germanys, a beautiful Ashes of American Flags opener and 2 epic Spiders(Kidsmoke) (one with Yo La Tengo sitting in) not to mention a whole lot of other Wilco-y goodness. Get 'em while the getting's good.

Here's a video of the Impossible Germany from Brooklyn to whet your appetite while you download:

awesome. I better get on that next payday! not only is it a good cause but I've benefited PLENTY from the owl and the bear site which is a direct result of their generousity. Not to mention SBD's for any band are a rare thing anymore.

thanks

Thanks for the notice. I based my Pandora "radio station" on Wilco, SonVolt, and Neil Young, and have not been disappointed (OK, I did have to ban Bob Seeger).
